Notes	Birth and death dates taken off tombstone. Names from Nixon/ Ellison Genealogy by Robert Nixon. Came from Ireland with his father, William Nixon and mother Jane Ellison in 1806. James was waylaid by robbers between Rome, Adams Co., OH and his home and robbed and beaten. He died a few days later from his injuries.	Notes	A Principle organizer of the Christian Union Church where cemetery is located. As an elderly widow with some wealth, donated the land, had the church built and furnished the furnishings for it. It was to be a Christian Union Denomination. The wood was cut and sawed on Nixon land by Van R. McCarty.
